11 killed in SUV car and truck collision in Chhattisgarh's Balod, CM Bhupesh Baghel sad  

An SUV car collided with a truck in Chhattisgarh's Balod. In this accident, 11 people died on the spot. There was a hue and cry on the spot after the incident. It is said that this major road accident happened near Jagtara village of the Purur police station area on National Highway-30 of Balod district. Eleven people including five women and two children died in this road accident. All of them were going to the marriage ceremony between Purur and Charma of Balod near Balod Gahan. In this, the condition of a girl child is serious. Police have reached the spot on information. In a short while, all the dead bodies will be sent to their home village after postmortem. Expressing grief, Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel said that it has just been reported that 10 people have died and a girl child in a collision between a Bolero and a truck going to a wedding ceremony near Balodgahan between Purur and Charma in Balod. The situation is serious. May God give peace to the departed souls and courage to their families. I pray for the recovery of the injured girl.

It is being told that there was a face-to-face collision between the truck and the Bolero. The tests of Bolero flew away. About 11 people aboard the Bolero have died. All the Baratis had gone to Markatola in the Kanker district to attend the marriage ceremony. The incident took place near Jagtra in Balod district while returning from a marriage function. Police have reached the spot. The matter is under investigation.

All the people were from the same family. Only the child survived the accident, who is seriously injured. The injured child has been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
