Swarajya Times derives its name from Swarajya Times, which flows through the Rajasthan, which includes the districts of Jodhpur,Mewar,Jaipur in India.
The website was launched in July 2020 in Jaipur,Rajasthan by a journalist BaluSingh Rajpurohit. It has been covering topics related to development, infrastructure, and healthcare, particularly in the Rajasthan. It also covers current news across the world.
On 21 January 2022, Swarajya Times started daily short news round-up in various local languages of Rajasthan, which includes English and Hindi languages with additional support of Marwadi language.
