Nine people died in fire in firecracker factory in Tamil Nadu, CM Stalin announced compensation
Nine people died in a fire at a firecracker factory in Tamil Nadu's PTI district on Monday (October 9). State Chief Minister MK Stalin has issued a statement condoling the death of nine people. The CM also announced cash relief for the families of the deceased. The incident took place at a private company located in Viragalur village in Ariyalur district.

Nine people died in a fire at a firecracker factory in Tamil Nadu's PTI district on Monday (October 9). State Chief Minister MK Stalin has issued a statement condoling the death of nine people. The CM also announced cash relief for the families of the deceased.
The incident took place at a private company located in Viragalur village in Ariyalur district, although the cause of the fire is not yet known. CM Stalin said that five injured people have been admitted to Thanjavur Medical College Hospital and are being given special medical care.
CM Stalin said he has deployed his cabinet ministers SS Shivshankar and CV Ganesan to expedite rescue and relief activities. The CM has announced an ex-gratia of Rs 3 lakh each to the families of each deceased, Rs 1 lakh to the seriously injured, and Rs 50,000 to those with moderate injuries.
