Blast at Golden Temple Amritsar: There was a blast again last night near the Golden Temple, the holy pilgrimage site of Sikhs in Amritsar. This blast has happened for the third time in the last five days. After this blast, security has been tightened in the Golden Temple and surrounding areas.

There have been three blast incidents in the last five days near the Golden Temple in Amritsar, Punjab. The third blast took place last night near the Golden Temple, a pilgrimage site for the Sikh community. After which there was a stir in the area. In a hurry, the police started the investigation. After a preliminary investigation by the police, five people have been arrested. The area around the Golden Temple of Amritsar comes in a very safe area. In such a situation, the incidents of blasts happening here have become a challenge for the police administration. Some people are also seeing it linked to the Khalistani movement. In the midst of all this commotion, the senior officer of Punjab Police said that today at 11 am, Punjab's DGP Gaurav Yadav will give complete information about the matter by holding a press conference.

According to the information received, this third blast near the Golden Temple took place around 12.10 pm near the langar hall of the Golden Temple. There was a stir on hearing the sound of the explosion. The Golden Temple Management immediately informed the police about it. The police reached there at night and sealed the blast site. Forensic teams are taking samples from the spot.

The Punjab Police tweeted that five people have been arrested in connection with the blast. According to the information received from the sources, two of these five boys and girls were staying in room number 225 of the inn. A suspicious bag has also been recovered from them. Both are residents of Gurdaspur. After the blast, the security of the Golden Temple and its surroundings has been further tightened.

It may be known that before this there was a blast near the Golden Temple on Saturday and Monday as well. Low-density crude bombs were used in these. After the blast on Wednesday night, the police also received a letter from the spot. It has been taken into custody by the police officers. However, the police officials did not say anything about what is written in this letter and whether it is related to the blast or not.
