Bushra Bibi expressed concern over Imran Khan's safety, expressed fear of poisoning her husband in jail

Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan has been convicted in the Toshakhana case. Imran was convicted by a lower court and sentenced to 3 years in jail and a ban on contesting elections for 5 years. Along with this, a fine of 1 lakh Pakistani rupees was also imposed on Imran and if Imran does not pay it, then his jail sentence can be increased by 6 months. Under this, Imran has been imprisoned in Attock jail. In Attock Jail, Imran has been kept in the midst of a lot of trouble and no facilities are being provided. Recently Imran's wife Bushra Bibi said a big thing while expressing concern over her husband's safety.

Bushra Bibi has recently expressed concern over the security of her husband in jail, fearing that he might be poisoned. Bushra Bibi has also said that an attempt has been made to kill Imran twice in jail but the accused have not been arrested. In such a situation, Bushra Bibi has written a letter to the jail administration seeking permission to give home-cooked food to Imran in jail.

Prior to Bushra Bibi, Imran's party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had also suspected the same a few days back. PTI accused Imran of being poisoned in Attock jail a few days ago. PTI alleged that Imran is being slowly poisoned in Attock jail under the slow poison scheme.

In her letter to the jail administration, Bushra Bibi also demanded B-category facilities for Imran. Bushra Bibi wrote that Imran is a graduate of Oxford University, former captain of Pakistan's national cricket team, and former PM of the country, and in such a situation, he should be given at least B-category facilities in the jail.

PTI Vice President Shah Mehmood Qureshi had told that Imran is getting C-class treatment in Attock Jail. His lawyers have also confirmed this after meeting Imran. Imran's lawyers told that he has been given a small and dark room in the jail. There is an open toilet in Imran's room. Not only this flies and insects keep hovering in Imran's room as well as ants also keep crawling. Also, Imran is being allowed to meet only his lawyers in jail and not anyone else. Because of this bad treatment, Imran is getting in Attock Jail, he, his lawyer, and his party want him to be transferred to Rawalpindi's Adiala Jail as soon as possible.
