Pakistan's former PM Imran Khan (70 years) has an appearance in the Lahore High Court on Monday. Before the appearance, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan accused the Pakistan government that Pakistan PM Shahbaz Sharif's London plan has come to the fore. Their plan is to keep me in jail for 10 years. He will also put his wife Bushra in jail. The sword hangs over Bushra in the Al Qadir case. Both Imran Khan and Bushra are accused in the Al Qadir Trust case. Earlier, the Lahore High Court had stayed the arrest of Imran Khan in all the cases registered after May 9 and ordered him to appear before the Lahore High Court today. The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) arrested Imran Khan on May 9 in the Al Qadir Trust case. The Supreme Court had declared the arrest of Imran Khan from the Islamabad High Court premises illegal and referred the matter to the High Court.
In his tweet, Imran Khan lashed out at Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif, writing that now London's plan has come to the fore. When I was in jail, under the guise of violence, they themselves have become judge, jury, and executioner! Now the plan is to torture me by putting Bushra Begum in jail and imprison me under the guise of some sedition law for the next ten years.
Imran Khan further wrote that after that Tehreek-e-Insaf's remaining leadership and workers will be completely arrested. And finally, they will ban Pakistan's largest federalist party (as they did with Awami League in East Pakistan).
Imran Khan further wrote that the media has been completely controlled and its voice has been suppressed forcefully. Tomorrow they will suspend internet services and social media.
