The political upheaval in Turkey for some time is about to stop. For some time, the search for a new President was going on in the country. There were two rounds of elections for this. The first round of elections remained inconclusive, but in the second round it was decided who would become the next President of Turkey. With the victory in the second round of the election, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is set to take over as the President of Turkey once again.
After the first round of elections held in Turkey on 14 May remained inconclusive, Erdogan won the second round of runoff elections held on 28 May. The results of the election were announced late at night, and Erdogan won with 52.1% of the total vote. In the last round, Erdogan did not even get 50% of the votes, but in the second round, Erdogan made a strong comeback and captured the presidency once again. Although Kemal Kilicdaroglu gave a tough fight to Erdogan in both rounds, Erdogan still managed to win.
With this victory, Erdogan ensured to become the President of Turkey for the 11th consecutive time. Erdogan will be crowned as the President of Turkey for the 11th consecutive time. With the victory, Erdogan started receiving congratulations from the leaders of different countries. Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi also congratulated Erdogan on the victory on Twitter.
