NATO Chief's message to Turkey, 'Sweden is ready to become a member, withdraw objection'
Could Sweden Join NATO Soon?: For the last few years, the exercise of joining Sweden and Finland in NATO is going on. Finland has become a member of NATO some time ago, but Sweden is still not successful in this. There is only one reason for this and that is Türkiye's objection. Recently, along with giving a message to Turkey, the NATO Chief has also made a request.

NATO ie North Atlantic Treaty Organization is a group of 31 countries, which includes 29 European countries and 2 North American countries. All the member countries involved in NATO help each other in military matters. This helps a lot to the small countries involved in NATO. Seeing this advantage of NATO, two other European countries Sweden and Finland also want to join NATO for a long time. In April this year, Finland became the 31st member country of NATO. Sweden had also applied along with Finland to join NATO, but Sweden has not been successful so far. The reason for this is another NATO member country.
Turkey has not yet given the green signal for Sweden to join NATO. Actually, for any new country to become a member of NATO, the consent of all the existing members is necessary. Turkey is the only NATO member country that has not yet approved Sweden's accession to NATO.
NATO Chief Jens Stoltenberg has recently given a message to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. The NATO Chief has given a message to the President of Turkey saying that Sweden has taken all necessary steps to join NATO and now Sweden is ready to become a member of NATO.
Turkey has long blocked Sweden's move to join NATO. In such a situation, NATO Chief Stoltenberg has demanded Erdogan to withdraw the objection of Sweden joining NATO so that Sweden can become the 32nd member country of NATO as soon as possible.
