Barmer : Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on June 2 inspected the Inflation Relief Camp in Barmer. The camp has been set up to provide relief to people who have been affected by the rising prices of essential commodities.

Gehlot interacted with the people at the camp and listened to their grievances. He assured them that the government is working to control inflation and that relief measures will be taken soon.

The Chief Minister also visited the Adarsh Stadium in Barmer and addressed a public meeting. He said that the BJP-led government at the Centre is responsible for the rising prices of essential commodities. He accused the BJP of not doing enough to help the common man.

Gehlot said that the Congress government in Rajasthan is committed to providing relief to the people. He said that the government has already taken a number of steps to control inflation, including providing free power to domestic consumers up to 100 units.

The Chief Minister said that the government is also working to provide employment to the youth. He said that the government has launched a number of schemes to provide employment to the youth, including the Mukhyamantri Yuva Swabhiman Yojana and the Rajasthan Urban Livelihoods Mission.

Gehlot appealed to the people to vote for the Congress in the upcoming assembly elections. He said that the Congress is the only party that can provide a stable and progressive government to Rajasthan.
