Kia Motors India Launches Sonet Aurochs Edition - A Bold and Aggressive Compact SUV

Kia Motors India has recently announced the launch of the Aurochs Edition of its popular compact SUV, the Sonet. The Aurochs Edition has been introduced to give a more distinctive and rugged look to the already stylish Sonet. Priced at Rs. 11.85 lakh (ex-showroom), the limited edition model is available in two variants - GTX+ and HTX+.

One of the main highlights of the Kia Sonet Aurochs Edition is its bold and aggressive design. It features a new front bumper with a silver skid plate, a larger front grille with a honeycomb mesh pattern, and blacked-out headlamps and fog lamps. The Aurochs Edition also gets a unique set of 16-inch gunmetal grey alloy wheels, black ORVMs, and roof rails.

Inside the cabin, the Aurochs Edition boasts a premium black and beige dual-tone upholstery with red stitching. The SUV also comes with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, wireless charging, a sunroof, automatic climate control, and more.

Under the hood, the Aurochs Edition is powered by the same engine options as the regular Sonet. The GTX+ variant comes with a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 118 bhp and 172 Nm of torque, mated to a seven-speed DCT. Meanwhile, the HTX+ variant is available with a 1.5-litre diesel engine that churns out 113 bhp and 250 Nm of torque, coupled with a six-speed manual gearbox.

The Kia Sonet has been a popular choice in the Indian compact SUV market since its launch last year, thanks to its sharp styling, premium features, and value-for-money proposition. With the addition of the Aurochs Edition, Kia aims to cater to customers who prefer a more rugged and off-road inspired look for their SUVs.
