Giving this information, a senior West Bengal official said that Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has ordered an immediate ban on the exhibition of the controversial film 'The Kerala Story'. In fact, the film The Kerala Story, it was told how girls become victims of religious conversion gangs.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said about the film, why did 'The Kashmir Files' come? So that a class can be humiliated. Apart from this, he said what is The Kerala Story? This too is a misrepresented story. While reacting to the Bengal government's decision, Vipul Shah, the producer of the film, said, "If they have done this, we will take legal action."

After this statement of CM Mamta Banerjee, now BJP has also given a befitting reply. BJP's national general secretary Tarun Chugh, retorting on Mamata Banerjee's statement, has termed West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee as 'Modern Jinnah'.

At the same time, Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur has also verbally attacked Mamta after this statement of Mamta Banerjee.
