Cruise bikes are well-liked in India, but when it comes to buying them, very few reach out. The same happened with the Bajaj Avenger 220 a while ago, the model was good but had to be discontinued due to poor sales. But once the company has launched it in a new avatar without any noise.

The new Bajaj Avenger 220 Street motorcycle will be sold alongside other variants of other Avenger series motorcycles which include the 220 Cruiser and the 160 Street. The performance of this bike has been very good on the highway but it is difficult to handle in city rides and heavy traffic. Now it has to be seen how much it is liked again in India.

In terms of styling, the bike gets minor changes. It gets a different headlight cowl, alloy wheels, a handlebar, and a grab rail. Other changes include the amber backlit digital instrument cluster. But the design has been kept as before. Talking about the engine, the bike will get an updated 220cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine, which supports BS6 Phase 2 emission norms and E20 fuel applicable from April 2023.
This engine generates a peak power of 19bhp and a peak torque of 17.55Nm. At the same time, the engine of this bike supports a 5-speed gearbox. That is, now it is slightly better than before, and in terms of power, the bike is the same as before, but you can say that it has come with refinement.
