This sitcom has remained a favorite of the audience for the last 15 years, but now it seems that Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has caught someone's eye. First Shailesh Lodha and now Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal. In a conversation with E-Times, Jennifer told that she has not shot for the show since March 7 and also explained the reason behind it.
Jennifer told that something happened to her on March 6 which she cannot forget. He said that it was his anniversary on March 6, the day the incident took place. I was not allowed to go home and the makers along with the project manager stopped my car and threatened me. I told them that for so many years I am working in this serial, and you cannot do this to me. Then they threatened and threatened me. I have filed a case of sexual harassment against three people.
On March 7, I asked for half a day's leave for Holi and said either let me go home for 2 hours as my daughter is waiting for me. He made adjustments with everyone except me. I realized that this is not a place for women to work. The project manager told me to get out in front of everyone four times and spoke very rudely. The creative person stopped my car and all this is captured on CCTV. All this happened on 7th March. I thought these people would call me. But this did not happen.
Jennifer further said that these people sent me a notice that we have suffered because of you. I said, on the contrary, the thief scolded the police officer. Then these people tried to scare me. I messaged him that this is sexual harassment. These people accused me that I am doing all this to extort money. I had decided only then that I would apologize in front of the public. The actress further said that this has happened to me many times before but I have ignored it.
She also accused the makers of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah of sexual harassment. Jennifer said- Many times he tried to take advantage of me but every time I let it go. Because if I raised my voice, my work would have gone away from me. How many times I was not allowed to go home, I complained many times but no action was ever taken.
