Jio's February was bat-bat! Airtel and Vodafone Idea became the maximum number of 10 lakh new customers
According to TRAI, the country's largest telecom company Jio added a maximum number of 10 lakh subscribers in February. With this, the total number of its subscribers increased from 42.61 crore in January to 42.71 crore in February.

Telecom companies Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel added a total of 1.98 million mobile customers in February, while Vodafone Idea lost 2 million customers during this period. The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) gave this information in the data released on Thursday.
According to TRAI, the country's largest telecom company Jio added a maximum number of 10 lakh subscribers in February. With this, the total number of its subscribers increased from 42.61 crore in January to 42.71 crore in February.
Sunil Mittal-led Bharti Airtel added 9.82 lakh subscribers in the month of February taking its total subscriber base to 36.98 crore.
According to TRAI, Vodafone Idea lost 2 million subscribers and its total subscriber base came down to 23.79 crore.
According to the release, the total broadband subscriber base increased by 0.02 percent from 839.18 million at the end of January to 839.330 million at the end of February. The top five service providers accounted for 98.38 percent of the total market share of broadband subscribers.
TRAI said these service providers include Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (43.52 crore subscribers), Bharti Airtel's (23.97 crores), Vodafone Idea (12.374 crores), BSNL (2.492 crores), and Atria Convergence (about 21 lakh customers).
