Telangana CM Chandrasekhar Rao embarks on Maharashtra tour: 600 vehicles in BRS Chief's convoy

Telangana Chief Minister and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) chief K Chandrasekhar Rao left for Solapur in Maharashtra on Monday. About 600 vehicles are included in the convoy of Chandrasekhar Rao, who came out with the entire Lav-Lashkar. Among them are the leaders of his party, ministers, MPs, MLAs, etc. His journey which started from Pragati Bhavan in Hyderabad to Solapur turned into a road show.

To catch a glimpse of Chandrashekhar, his supporters came out on the streets and welcomed him by showering flowers. Supporters were doing feminism in support of Rao. He will stay in Maharashtra for two days.

CM Chandrasekhar Rao has held big public meetings in several districts of Maharashtra in the last few months. In these meetings, he presented the Telangana model of development. Not only this, but some leaders of Maharashtra have also joined BRS in the last few months. The BRS supremo had recently inaugurated a party office at Nagpur in Maharashtra's Vidarbha region. In a major expansion exercise in Maharashtra, the BRS is planning a campaign in all 288 assembly constituencies.

During his visit, the BRS chief is likely to meet several leaders from Maharashtra as well as the families of handloom workers who migrated from Telangana.
On Tuesday morning, KCR will visit the pilgrimage town Pandharpur to visit the famous Lord Vitthal temple and Tulaja Bhavani Ammavaru in Osmanabad to participate in special pujas.

Maharashtra has been KCR's main focus since the Telangana Rashtra Samithi was renamed Bharat Rashtra Samithi in December last year. The Chief Minister has addressed five public meetings in neighboring states highlighting his 'Telangana Model' of development.

In a public meeting on 19 May, he announced a one-month program to expand BRS across Maharashtra. Inaugurating a training camp for party leaders, he had said that the BRS would launch a massive campaign to expand to over 45,000 villages and 5,000 municipal wards of municipal bodies. Many workers and leaders of NCP and other parties in Maharashtra have joined BRS during the last six months.
