In television's popular reality show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' (KBC), Rahul Kumar Nema of Bhopal won Rs 50 lakh by answering 14 questions. Rahul was sitting on the hot seat in front of Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan on Friday night. The 15th question was of one crore rupees, but he did not have the answer. That's why he quit.

Earlier on Thursday night, he had won Rs 3 lakh 20 thousand. He started the next game at 9 pm on Friday night. Answering the 11th, 12th, and 13th questions correctly, he reached the stage of the 14th question for one crore rupees. This was the answer of 1 crore rupees: Big B asked Rahul the 15th question for one crore rupees 'Which of these former Chief Ministers has received the Sahitya Akademi Award'? The question had four options - Jyoti Basu, Biju Patnaik, Veerappa Moily, and EMS Namboodiripad. Rahul could not answer this question. The correct answer to this question was Veerappa Moily.

As soon as Rahul heard the question, he knew that he would not be able to answer it correctly. So he thought it right to quit the show and won an amount of Rs 50 lakh.

Rahul is suffering from a rare severe disease called osteoporosis in which bones become brittle. Despite all the difficulties, they live in a vivacious manner. His spirit was also appreciated by Big B i.e. superstar Amitabh Bachchan. Rahul is an assistant manager at Madhya Pradesh Gramin Bank's Shahpura branch in Bhopal.
