Manipur Violence: Trains cancelled after the internet, security personnel ready
Manipur Violence: Following the law and order situation in Manipur, Northeast Frontier Railway has stopped all trains going to Manipur. No trains are entering Manipur till the situation improves, said Sabyasachi Dey, CPRO, NF Railway.

The violence that broke out in Manipur regarding the Meitei community has taken a gigantic form. The Manipur state government has imposed Section 144 in violence-hit areas. And as a precaution, the internet has also been shut down for the next five days. After the internet now almost all trains in Manipur have been cancelled today. Following the law and order situation in Manipur, the Northeast Frontier Railway has stopped all Manipur-bound trains. Indian Railways said that four trains have been cancelled. This decision has been taken for two days (May 5 and 6) at present.
