Oldest recorded kiss in the world dates back to 4500 years ago

Scientists have revealed the age of the world's oldest recorded kiss. Scientists at the University of Copenhagen claim to have discovered the earliest evidence of a 'romantic kiss' among humans, saying it is mentioned in an ancient text dating back to around 2500 BC. According to research published in the journal Science, researchers determined that the first recorded romantic kiss dates back to about 4,500 years ago in the Middle East. It was also described in historical Indian texts about 1,000 years ago.

Danish scientists made this discovery after studying clay tablets found in Mesopotamia. These sexual game pills date back to the Bronze Age. Researchers reported that the description of the kiss was found in one of the oldest documents in the Sumerian and Akkadian languages. Both languages were spoken in Mesopotamia. Writing in this language is believed to have originated in Iraq around 3200 BC. Dr. Trolls Punk Arbol, an expert in medical history at the University of Mesopotamia, said people in ancient Mesopotamia wrote in cuneiform script on clay tablets. They are clear examples of how kissing was considered part of romantic intimacy in ancient times.

Research has shown that kissing was a normal part of everyday life in relationships of sex, family, and friendship around the end of the 3rd century BC. Perhaps it was not a specialty of one region but spread all over the world. Dr. Trolls says that therefore kissing should not be considered a custom, which originated in a particular region and spread from there to the whole world.

According to the research report, even in that period, humans had speculated that many types of infections or viruses could be spread by kissing. Many texts of that time mention diseases like Bubutu or Bushanu. These diseases are known today as herpes.
