Sachin Pilot's Jan Sangharsh Yatra Could Impact Congress' Prospects in Rajasthan Elections: Experts
Congress leader Sachin Pilot's decision to launch the Jan Sangharsh Yatra to address people's issues and criticize Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot for alleged corruption could harm the party's chances in upcoming state elections, according to political analysts.

Congress leader Sachin Pilot announced on Monday that he will embark on a "Jan Sangharsh Yatra" to raise people's issues in Rajasthan. Pilot's decision to take up the cause of the people comes in the wake of a number of issues that have been plaguing the state, including alleged corruption and inaction on the part of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.
Addressing a press conference in Jaipur, Pilot criticized Gehlot for his alleged lack of action in addressing the issues of the people. He accused the Chief Minister of being involved in corruption and claimed that the state government had failed to deliver on its promises.
Pilot's Jan Sangharsh Yatra is expected to cover a number of districts in the state, and will be aimed at mobilizing support for the Congress party ahead of the upcoming state elections. However, experts have suggested that this move could actually harm the party's chances in the polls.
Political analyst Suresh Misra said, "Sachin Pilot's decision to launch the Jan Sangharsh Yatra could backfire for the Congress. By attacking his own party's Chief Minister, he is giving the opposition a chance to portray the Congress as a divided house. This could impact the party's prospects in the upcoming elections."

Misra also pointed out that Pilot's rebellion against the party leadership last year had already damaged the Congress in the state. "The Congress had managed to resolve the differences between Sachin Pilot and Ashok Gehlot last year, but the damage had already been done. The party lost a lot of ground to the BJP in the last assembly elections, and it will be difficult for them to regain that ground now."
The BJP, on the other hand, has been quick to capitalize on the Congress's troubles. State party president Satish Poonia said, "The Congress is a sinking ship, and Sachin Pilot's Jan Sangharsh Yatra is just another attempt to save it. The people of Rajasthan have lost faith in the Congress, and they will not be swayed by such gimmicks."
As the political drama unfolds in Rajasthan, it remains to be seen what impact Sachin Pilot's Jan Sangharsh Yatra will have on the state's political landscape. With the state elections just around the corner, both the Congress and the BJP will be looking to gain an edge over each other, and every move they make will be scrutinized closely.
